Jesus Loves
Krishna
The
elusive and often denied book
Anyone who interprets or comments upon any scripture of the
world is acting as a spiritual teacher directly or indirectly. In other
words, they imagine themselves to be a true representative of Jesus and
God. So their life is a contradiction. - Page 46
Chris Butler
teaches his followers that they should worship Jesus as a "pure devotee of
Krishna". He takes it upon himself to completely reinterpret the Bible,
claiming that it does not really represent the complete teachings of
Jesus.
At times, despite the fact that he is the only disciple of
AC Bhaktivedanta Swami to teach worship of Jesus besides Kirtananda (who
ordered the murder of Sulocana das for exposing ISKCON and went to jail
for racketeering), Chris Butler presents himself as a Christian and orders
his disciples to do the same in recruitng new followers. So while he
claims that everything he says is coming from a succession of spiritual
teachers, and to be following a tradition of accepting a spiritual master
himself, this is not the case.
Calling himself "the Lord's most
confidential servant and friend" Chris Butler is certain that he is the
only one who is qualified to impart the teachings of Jesus Christ and tell
you what the Bible really meant to say.
Chris Butler is so
confident that only he really knows Jesus that he dismisses everyone else
as "so-called Christians" who "use Jesus as their doormat." He mocks the
beliefs of Christians, as he interprets them to be.
Jesus Loves
Krishna sets out Chris Butler's reasoning that Jesus is a devotee.
This book is a rare publication, the existence of which is often
denied by Chris Butler and his disciples.
For an example of how Chris Butler presents
himself for a Christian audience and interprets the Bible see the above
video "Hare Christian". Chris butler is singing at the end of this video
and you will also hear Wai Lana singing the 'Hare Krishna'.
