"Some Intelligent People Don't Have a Brain"
Length: 1:29

This urban legend of people living without a brain, with above average IQs, is the domain of "The unexplained" books. Based on research of professor John Lorber of the 1970s, it was ignored due to Lorber's extraordinary and sensationalized claims of 'brain redundancy'. His study held several deficiencies including the fact that cat scans in the 70s were new technology and could only scan a section of the brain. Lorber himself admitted that the actual brain size of his subjects could not be accurately measured. There is still no evidence of anyone living without a brain.
